Review of the Tariff Methodology
The Ports Regulator is pleased to announce the commencement of the review of the Tariff Strategy.
The Strategy was initially developed in 2015/16 with a ten-year implementation horizon, and it has now reached the end of its ten-year cycle.
Over the last ten (10) years, significant strides have been made in aligning tariffs with the cost-based, user-pay principle and addressing cross-subsidisation within the tariff structure.
This Discussion Document provides an overview of implementation to date, as well as possible ways forward.
